EverAfter ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application EverAfter collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app.
By using the EverAfter mobile application, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
- No accountNo name, email or phone number. Credits are linked to a random device ID.
- Photos are sent only when you generateAfter your consent, to fal.ai through our backend, which doesn't store them.
- Deleted within hoursfal.ai deletes your photos after 1 hour and the result after 24 hours.
- No training, no adsYour photos never train AI. No advertising or analytics SDKs, no tracking.
1Information We Collect
EverAfter has no accounts. We don’t ask for your name, email address or phone number. The app processes only the following:
- Photos you choose — only after you select them for a style and tap generate (see section 2).
- A random device identifier that the app creates and keeps in your device’s keychain. It links your credit balance and purchases to this device. It is not your Apple ID, advertising identifier or phone number.
- Your credit balance and a record of credits added and spent (for example a purchase, a generation or a refund).
- Purchase and subscription status, handled by Apple and RevenueCat.
We don’t use advertising or analytics SDKs, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
2Your Photos and AI Processing
Before your first photo is sent, the app shows what is sent, who receives it and how long it is kept, and asks for your consent. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time in Settings → AI photo processing.
When you tap generate:
- The photos you selected — your couple photo, a photo of each partner and any children’s photos you add — and the chosen style are sent over an encrypted connection to our backend (Supabase).
- Our backend passes them to fal.ai, the AI service that runs the image model. For this feature fal.ai runs Google’s Nano Banana image model.
- Our servers do not store your photos; they only pass them on to fal.ai.
- fal.ai is instructed to delete your uploaded photos automatically after 1 hour and the created image after 24 hours, and not to keep a log of the request contents.
- EverAfter does not use your photos to train AI models, and never sells them or uses them for advertising.
Only upload photos of people who have agreed to it. Children’s photos may only be added by the child’s parent or legal guardian; by adding them you confirm that you are.
3Generated Images
- The created image is sent back to the app and is kept only if you save it.
- Saved images are stored in the app’s storage on your device and, with your permission, in your photo library. They are not uploaded to EverAfter’s servers.
- fal.ai’s copy is deleted automatically after 24 hours.
You can delete saved images from your device at any time.
4Third-Party Services
We share data only with the services needed to run the app:
- fal.ai — AI image generation. Receives the photos you selected and the chosen style. Privacy policy: https://fal.ai/privacy
- Google — provides the image model that fal.ai runs for this feature. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Supabase — our backend and database. Stores the device identifier and credit records, and passes your photos to fal.ai without storing them. Privacy policy: https://supabase.com/privacy
- RevenueCat — manages purchases and subscriptions. Receives your purchase history and the device identifier. Privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple — processes all payments through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
5Data Retention and Deletion
- Your photos: not stored by EverAfter; deleted by fal.ai after 1 hour.
- Created images: deleted by fal.ai after 24 hours; copies you saved stay on your device until you delete them.
- Device identifier and credit records: kept while you use the app so your credits and purchases stay available. Email syhnserkan@gmail.com to have them deleted.
6Data Security
All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access to our backend is restricted. No digital service can guarantee absolute security.
7Children's Privacy
EverAfter is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Parents or legal guardians may add photos of their own children to family styles. These photos are handled exactly as described in section 2: used only to create the requested image, not stored by EverAfter, deleted by fal.ai after 1 hour, and never used to build a profile of the child. We don’t ask for a child’s name, age or any other information about the child.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will delete it.
8Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the "Effective Date" at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
